❓About Arcus Caelestis
WHAT IS ARCUS CAELESTIS?
"Arcus caelestis" is a Latin term that translates to "heavenly arch" or "celestial bow" in English. It is most commonly used to refer to a rainbow, an optical and meteorological phenomenon caused by the refraction, reflection, and dispersion of light in water droplets, resulting in a multicolored arc in the sky.
WHY ARCUS CAELESTIS?
The class reached a consensus that their batch name would be "Arcus Caelestis," surpassing other proposed names such as "Batch Optimistics," "Batch Astigma," and my personal bias, "Batch EyeZen ADD 0.40." The class agreed on "Arcus Caelestis" as the batch name because it perfectly reflects how the class, like a rainbow with its seven colors, represents seven barangays. Despite this diversity, the class remains united, standing together to conquer all academic and internship challenges they encounter.
