April 23 - May 24, 2025. To prove that they are worthy of being called "6th years," it must come not only from their seniority but also from the skills that accompany it. Hence, the need for continuous enhancement.
June 2-5, 2025. As future doctors, they uphold that title by undergoing standard first aid and basic life support training to prepare themselves (and to fulfill the requirements for the pinning ceremony).
June 9, 2025. To prepare for the pinning ceremony, a pictorial was held so that the pictures could be used when their names are called on that special day. The scent of freshly washed white coats, the ironing, the makeup, and the search for the perfect angles all took place here.

June 11, 2025. This is the long-awaited moment for the incoming sixth-year students, marking the beginning of their internship and the preparation for the tears and sweat that will be expended to achieve their goal of becoming professionals.

June 13, 2025. A meeting was held to discuss the duty schedules for each intern.
June 16, 2025. First day of duty. A meeting was held with the officers to discuss and finalize some things and concerns about internship.
June 17, 2025. Coat racks were purchased so that those assigned to PECC can place their coats when not in use.
June 18, 2025. Dr. Tongco, an administrator from the Cebu Braille Center, held an orientation for the interns. The orientation primarily covered what to expect during their duties at the site, as well as the qualities interns are expected to possess, such as patience and perseverance.
June 18, 2025. A preparatory meeting took place on the Specialty Room, for interns who will be participating in their first medical mission tomorrow, June 19, 2025, as interns.
June 18, 2025. The VCG team prepared the frames that will be used in the free clinic and ophthalmics class.
June 18, 2025. Niña Salinas, a.k.a. the first Mini Doc Candy (shadow), presented on the very first topic for Ophthalmics: the Boxing System with Prism and Prentice Rule. 👏
June 19, 2025. A Medical Mission was held in Zapatera Elementary School. The mission, dedicated to examining the eyes of patients, brought much-needed vision care directly to the heart of the community.
June 20, 2025. Some interns did their pattern making for the ophthalmics: prism glazing. The interns applied what they have learned during the discussion taught by Niña Salinas.
June 21, 2025. Despite no class this Saturday, some hardworking interns find ophthalmics to be their rest, leading them to spend their rest day in the ophthalmics lab, honing their skills and techniques. #thebestyou
June 24, 2025. Some of the interns held a mini-discussion about visual biology to prepare for the proficiency examination. Honestly, if you ask me, all I know is that mitochondria are the powerhouse of the cell.
June 28, 2025. The first proficiency examination, Visual Biology, was terrifyingly broad and challenging. Given only one hour for a 100-item examination, silence was observed for the entire duration, but the tense atmosphere in the classroom revealed its difficulty. Nevertheless, the interns faced the challenge head-on.
June 30, 2025. The morning batch. At the free clinic in Regino Elementary School, the interns showcased their outstanding skills in vision assessment and professional judgment. Under the leadership of Rednel Rosales, the team leader, the team was unstoppable in delivering exceptional eye care.
June 30, 2025. The afternoon batch. The location, despite being close to SWU, the interns still opted to take the van so that sweat will not get their way. Under the leadership of Celso Mikael Ortiza, the team leader, the interns were motivated not to take a rest to ensure fast flow and everyone gets the eye care assessment they deserve.
