January 7, 2026. Discussed by the long-standing shadow Francene, the interns learned how to interpret the corneal topography, differentiating the topography and tomography, as well as learning about its normal values. With Francene's full shadow teaching mode, she made sure that everyone gets to learn something by the end of the day.

January 7, 2026. Yes, happy birthday to her. Her birthday wish is for everyone to pass the board exams.

January 10, 2026. Starting the year off right by hosting an unforgettable night for the VCG family (I'm one of the emcee btw, together with Kiana). The Vision Care Group family welcomed 2026 with a celebration rooted in prayer for continued blessings and prosperity. Stepping into this new year, the bond within the team has never been stronger, fueled by shared laughter and a unified vision for the months ahead. 

January 13, 2026. Since the photographer forgot to take a picture of the class about to take the proficiency examination about Theoretical & Geometric Optics (TGO) and Contact Lens, here's a picture of Rednel peeking sweetly and charmly to compensate for it.

January 21, 2026. And just like that, the 6th and final case study presentation is finally done! Completing this requirement really put into perspective how fast time flies. It’s a bittersweet "6/6" milestone, the final hurdle before we gear up for the Grand Case. One step closer to Graduating! 

January 24, 2026. Just days after the final case study, the interns gathered for the Arcus Caelestis Christmas party. It might be our last holiday celebration together as students, but hopefully, it’s just the first of many as future colleagues. 

January 27, 2026. Back to the basics! Doc Tim led a session focused on the core concepts and rapid-fire computations essential for TGO. There's nothing like a good practicum to turn complex optics theories into practical clinical skills.
