August 1, 2025. Even though this medical mission went through the night, overextending the work, the interns and senior clinicians still dedicated their time to provide the best possible eye evaluation and correction they could provide. More info is available on the post made by the Dioptré below 👇
August 3, 2025. Eyyy we gonna go to Manila. Although we're smiling in this picture, the stress and time pressure on and before we get to the airport is what's behind the scenes. Even so, it's a travel fulfilled!
August 5, 2025. Why do I see two people with the same face? The only thing that differentiates them is that the one on the right is wearing eyeglasses. Jokes aside, the one on the left is none other than Dr. Geoffrey N. Co, the President and CEO of GB Vision.
August 5, 2025. Group picture with the President and CEO of GB Vision. Is this a peace sign, a number two signifying Batch 2, or a gesture that tells us we are going to be in the Top 2? Only Batch 2 knows.

August 13, 2025. Even though the interns were tired, they still dedicated their time to the first-ever Eyelluminate session, in part because it was a requirement for their internship. Little did they know that no matter how basic it seemed, the session was a valuable review for them. The first Eyelluminate was led by Lyx-Jason and Christine.

August 20, 2025. Some may have been unready, some may not have practiced, and some may have not gotten any sleep, but one thing is for sure: the second case study presentation is done. Interns may not be evaluated equally since the panelists have different perspectives, but the only thing that matters is how each intern improves their presentation skills and learns something new or even masters what they already know.

August 27, 2025. Hitting two birds with one stone, some interns spent their time studying in the allotted study space, gaining merits in the process.
August 28, 2025. The first-ever interns' Zumba 'show your move' night has finally been conducted. Even though the interns were perhaps exhausted or stressed from their respective duties, they still allotted time for the Zumba event, whether they put in full effort or not. The important thing is that the interns can now check Zumba class off their bucket list and that they managed to release some of their exhaustion or stress through dancing.
The following interns have received an award 🏆:
Best in Zumba Outfit (Male Category): Reynaldo Aplasca Jr.
Best in Zumba Outfit (Female Category): Niña Salinas
Best Dancer (Male Category): Jeremie Bayer, Lyan Anacleto Rañon, and John Edward Delas Peñas
Best Dancer (Female Category): Graemmae Tacsan
Sweatiest Dancer: John Edward Delas Peñas
Sunshine Smile Award: Celso Mikael Ortiza

August 30, 2025. The third proficiency examination on Binocular Vision and Physiologic Optics—do I need to say more? You can already see in this picture that JE was crying because of the exam's difficulty. Despite this, the questions were actually quite manageable to answer. It's just that I, the writer of this post, didn't study (my bad tho).
